Your 100 Day Prayer: Day 51- Beyond Random

From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
-Acts 17:26

Do you ever wonder why you are alive at this particular time, what your purpose for being here is, and why you live where you live? Paul tells us that we are here in the times we live by divine assignment.

Dr. Snyder explains further: “God expects us to search out and find what our purpose is, and he makes it fairly simple to find if we’re really looking for it. If most never do find it, it’s not because the answers aren’t there. But just think about it! Life is divinely appointed. It comes with the stamp of God upon it. It’s to be lived according to his rules and his master plan.

When we live like this, our life makes sense, leads somewhere, has both a purpose and a destination, and is heavily loaded with meaning. Everything that happens, both good and bad, from the moment of birth to the last breath, is governed by the infinite intelligence and mercy of our Creator. There’s not an ounce of chance or randomness in God’s arrangements for us.”

TODAY’S PRAYER: Thank God for his plan for all the boundaries of your life and ask him to sharpen your understanding of his very specific purpose for you.
