After the Sermon: Episode 35 – Going Off The Air Briefly and the Deferred Costs of Ministry

Overview

As After the Sermon goes off the air for a couple of weeks, host Jeremy Lundmark explains why the break is needed to catch up on some financial responsibilities.

We also take this opportunity to discuss the “cost” of ministry and how that cost, or burden, often is deferred to the minister rather than being relived by the beneficiaries of that ministry.

It’s a delicate balance to strike and we discuss how to strike that balance by realizing the burden exists, and relieving it when possible.
