Does God Have a Sense of Humor? Jane Jenkins Herlong on Speak UP!

As a Southern humorist, Jane Jenkins Herlong entertains using funny, original Southern stories, folksy wisdom, and singing to help folks live more productive, stress-free lives. Jane believes in the extraordinary healing power of humor and story telling.  As a female author, Jane’s most recent accomplishment is being an Amazon Bestseller  and award-winner for her newest book, Bury Me with My Pearls.

Jane is a Certified Professional Speaking (CSP), professional singer, female comedian, recording artist, and published author. Jane’s award-winning singing and humor is featured on Sirius XM Radio and Pandora. She criss-crosses the country sharing her “down-home principles delivered with uptown humor.” Jane has also spoken in New Zealand and Germany and is fluent in four languages: English, Southern, Northern and Gullah (gul-la).

Jane is active in her church and community and serves on as a Commissioner at Piedmont Technical College of South Carolina, Chair of the National Speakers Association Scholarship Committee, and serves on the Foundation Board of the National Speakers Association.

Jane’s proudest accomplishments are being a wife and mother. Jane and her family live on the family peach  farm in Edgefield County, South Carolina.

Scott McCausey

Scott McCausey is the Director of Radio Ministries at Christian Devotions Ministries. God presented this unique challenge in January of 2010 and has since brought exciting, well-know Christian leaders to the show he hosts, Christian Devotions Speak UP! Guests have included Christian recording artists, famous authors, ministers and evangelists and famous sports celebrities, all whom share a common goal to spread the word of Jesus Christ. Scott’s day job has him formulating polyurethane systems for Innovative Polymers of St. Johns, Michigan. He has performed various duties within this company for over 23 years and his vast knowledge of chemistry helps answer technical questions and steer new programs in the right direction. At home, Scott is the father of five children. He has been married to his wife Renee for over 20 years and he leads a Family Integrated Church in the mid-Michigan area.
