You might think that they are very opposite things, but because Jesus was about his Father’s business, because he took the full burden of our sin and went to the cross, we have true rest—founded on Christ. This week’s sermon is about the importance of work to rest—Jesus’ work, perfectly finished, and our rest, standing on the rock of the Gospel.
