Your 100 Day Prayer: Day 25 – The Highest Appeal

highest

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all thing were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. -Colossians 1:15-17

I’m often amazed and confused by some of the judgments that come down from the Supreme Court. It is encouraging to read what Dr. Snyder says about the “highest court”:

“As believers in Jesus, we have access to the highest court in the universe. Have you ever been so abused, mistreated, tricked, or defrauded that you wanted to present your whole case before some judge or jury? Have you ever longed for justice so much that it occupied your thinking every waking moment? If so, you’re a candidate for the heavenly court that never adjourns. We can present all the facts before the King and the Prince of Heaven with the confidence that, at the right time (God’s time) and in the right way (God’s way), absolutely perfect justice will be done.”

TODAY’S PRAYER: Lift up your complaint or request to God, the Judge of all things, by letting Jesus, your attorney, bring your case before God. Always keep in mind the high status of who Jesus is and the indescribable measure of his power and authority.
