Your 100 Day Prayer: Day 14 – The Master Plan

“The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord sends poverty and wealth, he humbles and he exalts.”
-1 Samuel 2:6-7

Have you ever expressed fear about what is happening in the world, or what is going on in your own life, and someone replied “not to worry because the Lord has a plan?” Did you believe it? Dr. Snyder does and explains why.

“God and God alone is the One who has a master plan for the ages, and he intends to stick with his plan regardless of whether we cooperate with him or not. He allows us to exercise our will, to serve him or oppose him, to love him or hate him, but in the end it will come out just the way he intends it to come out.

We can move through this life without despair because we can refer all things to God, knowing not only that he is in total charge of everything but also that his will is good and that it’s steeply tilted in our direction.”

TODAY’S PRAYER: During this period of prayerful waiting, bring to God your entire view of life and ask him to reshape it according to his eternal plan. Then repeatedly lift up your need to the heavenly Father in the light of his good purpose that cannot ever fail.
