Catholics love, I mean LOVE, Mary. Protestants generally respect her, but don’t want to get crazy about her because they don’t want to act too Catholic. But opinions are like vestigial tail stumps that we tape to the small of our backs to make our pants fit right: Everyone’s got one.
So historical opinions aside, here’s our first look at Mary in the Gospel of Luke, and I think she comes off like an incredible young woman filled with grace and courage.
