Overview
Episode 03 kicks off with some new intro sermon clips from JD Hall and the Pulpit and Pen program. Then I admit to sharing bad information from NBC.com.co and explain how it can happen to the best of us, and how we should respond when we make the mistake. I point out that Ed Stetzer may not be the best example to follow, but he still has some good advice on fact checking articles before sharing them.
I also take some time to discuss the hypocrisy in being outraged that Planned Parenthood is selling body parts, while not admitting openly that abortion is murder or standing against those who do.
In our main topic, we discuss Christians who struggle with same-sex attraction as a sin and ask both sides of the debate how their stances may be helping, or hurting, these marginalized believers in Christ.
Next, we turn to the podcast world and examine episode 101 of the Bad Christian podcast. We discuss why conservative Christians are so concerned about the SCOTUS decision and how the Bad Christian Podcast sounds a lot like Lot’s sons-in-Law just before Sodom and Gomorrah were obliterated by God.
Finally, we breeze through a recent article on TheologyMix.com from Dr. John Snyder on “A Pastor’s Rage.” As the podcast wraps up my kids goof around and hopefully leave you with a big smile on your face!
