A Christian Reacts to Donald Trump’s Proposal to Kill Our Enemies’ Families

At CNN’s GOP debate on December 15th, 2015, Donald Trump repeated his suggestion that a way to get ahead in the war on terror would be to kill the family members of our enemies. Apart from little details like the Geneva Convention, that raised some serious moral red flags for me as a Christian/human being with a family.

Fear can make well-intentioned, otherwise calm people advocate for some pretty crazy stuff.

  1. Thanks Jeremy. I passed along your compliment and she blushed. This whole conversation about ISIS and dealing with terrorism in general is bringing out some pretty weird stuff in the national discourse.

  2. Well said Matt,

Kudos to your 8 yr Old daughter for being smarter than more than half of the GOP lead contenders for US president on foreign affairs.
