Acts 13:13-41 Pt 2. [Paul’s speech at Pisidian Antioch]
When we get done with Acts and look back at it all, we’re going to feel like 2/3 of the book was comprised entirely of Paul starting a speech and then getting flogged somewhere in the middle of it. It always seems like he’s saying something smart but then gets cut off by violence. This time he gets to say his whole piece, and, what do you know? It’s pretty good.
And better yet, even though not everyone is thrilled, he at least isn’t immediately beaten.
