Jennifer Costa is a freelance writer and consultant with a heart for making a difference in her community. For the past 12 years, Jennifer has served faith-based organizations, starting her career as a behavioral case manager for homeless families. Since 2009, Jennifer has worked with Harvest Food & Outreach Center of St. Lucie County, serving as their Chief Programs Officer and later as Executive Director. A passionate instructor, Jennifer has provided workshops to numerous non-profit organizations. She is a “Bridges out of Poverty” certified trainer. Jennifer is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and volunteered on their National Philanthropy Day Steering Committee from 2012-2014. She was also a Lutheran Church of the Redeemer School Board Member (2008-2009) and a member of the Treasure Coast KidCare Coalition 2009-2011). In early 2015, Jennifer began working with Continue to Give, an organization that provides an online giving and tithing platform for Churches, Missionaries, Non-Profits and Adopting Families. As a “military brat,” she had the opportunity to travel the world, before settling down in South Florida, where she graduated from Florida Atlantic University and now lives with her husband and two children.
