This week we talk about redemption. What is redemption and how does it look in our culture today? Can we redeem anything and is it worth while? We look at Lord of the Rings to see what redeeming aspects there are in it and how we can apply that to our true reality today.
Also, we look at the Christ figures in LOTR in the forms of Prophet (Gandalf), Priest (Frodo), and King (Aragorn)—how these characters resemble Christ and the message that Tolkien was conveying through them in his middle-earth depiction of our world that we live in.
Join us next week with guest, the Dwight Schrute of The Art of Redemption as we discuss consumation in the Christian meta-narrative .

The Art of Redemption Radio—Bringing a Christian Worldview to the Arts.
In this show hosts Cody Anderson, Daniel Uptain, and Roy Uptain examine the Arts from a biblical perspective. We take on many different philosophical and theological views and line them up with the Scripture. We pull out the error and fallacy of the secular worldview that lies within all forms of the Arts. In doing this we examine how we are to view these arts as followers of Christ and how we need to engage our culture around us. These areas of the Arts include but are not limited to: movies, music, literature, paintings, drawings, digital, and graphic design.
