In Episode 40 I pointed out that Acts 8:37 doesn’t appear in most modern translations. In this adorable little bonus video I’ll explain the basics of Bible translation and that’ll shed some light on why translators eventually decided that verse 37 wasn’t in the original text and needed to be relegated to the footnotes.
Matt Whitman believes in God and thinks things are funny. He was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado before moving to Chicago where he graduated from Trinity College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He met his wife Camilla on his first day of college in his first class.
