Good works are a beautiful thing.
But when we start to view them as the reason we are saved, instead of the fruit of us being saved, it becomes a problem. One must always know that we were dead in our sins before Christ entered our life. The fruit that results from being in Christ is credited back to him—the person that in turn saved you.
