His Only Son: A Deep Message of Grace from Director David Helling

As Christians, God desires to align our heart’s desires with his will for us. Today’s guest is a classic example of this. Filmmaker David Helling brings to the big screen a film depicting the titanic spiritual struggle of Abram (Abraham) in Genesis. “His Only Son” tackles perhaps one of the most difficult of all biblical accounts—God’s command to sacrifice his son Isaac to test his obedience. A mystery and stumbling block to so many believers and skeptics alike, he draws a direct line from this troubling account to the cross of Jesus Christ, equally difficult for the human mind to grasp.

David is here with us to discuss the film now being released in over 1,800 theaters across America and internationally, as well as his own personal faith walk.
