In this week’s episode, the guys are joined by a real artist Gloria Blinn to discuss how eastern mysticism affects the arts.
The group discusses the importance of what art really is and how it causes us to worship. The worship, if not kept in check by Total Truth, errs off into world-views that just don’t work, i.e. Eastern Mysticism. As they go on in this discussion, they really draw on the work of Vincent van Gogh and talk about what his driving force was when painting and how his worldview came through in his work.
Worldview comes out in all the arts and we, as Christians, are responsible to make it reflect our Creator and communicate his character in our art.
