I am sitting here thinking of words to say.
Thinking of words that might speak to whatever current outrage is going on in this world today.
However, all I can think of is, “What more can be said?” So much has been said about everything from political issues, to civil right issues, to downright trivial issues.
In Revelation, Chapter 22, the angel speaks to John and says,
Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy. Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
So with the verse all I can say is,
THIS WORLD, IS NOT OUR HOME!
We should stop being surprised the world is sinning and start focusing on the ONE who called US out from among the world.
Sometimes it feels like I’m watching from the outside
Sometimes it feels like I’m breathing but am I alive
I won’t keep searching for answers that aren’t here to find
All I know is I’m not home yet
This is not where I belong
Take this world and give me Jesus
This is not where I belong
So when the walls come falling down on me
And when I’m lost in the current of a raging sea
I have this blessed assurance holding me.
All I know is I’m not home yet
This is not where I belong
Take this world and give me Jesus
This is not where I belong
When the earth shakes I wanna be found in You
When the lights fade I wanna be found in You
All I know is I’m not home yet
This is not where I belong
Take this world and give me Jesus
This is not where I belong
[x2]
Where I belong, where I belong
Where I belong, where I belong
