Peter’s Spontaneous, Heartfelt Speech [and Subsequent Slow Clap] | TMBH 46

Acts 10:34-43. Peter the Jew and Cornelius occupying Roman officer are in the same room. A lot of providential things have happened to get them there. Cornelius asks Peter to tell him what the deal is with God and Jesus. Conversations like this weren’t happening at this moment in history, which is all the more reason that it seems like this has the potential to be a moment. Will Peter go with the standard self-segregation script of the day, or will he go off-notes and take this thing in a new direction?
