Acts 2:37-47. People want to know how to respond to Jesus and God’s work through the Holy Spirit and the Day of Pentecost. Peter’s still standing there, so he offers some guidance. He tells them to stop doing and thinking what they were doing and thinking and instead obey Jesus and recognize him as Messiah. He also tells them to be baptized. How’s that going to go over with a crowd that had no affection for Jesus just weeks earlier?
