Your 100 Day Prayer: Day 3 – Good Out of Evil

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. -Genesis 50:20

Dr. Snyder describes this statement as “one of the most amazing truths in the Bible. It summarizes the entire history of faith—yours, mine, and everyone else’s… It speaks of God’s mysterious ability to take any and all evil, all malicious intent, and turn it on its head. It’s the practical outworking of what is said in the very first verses of Genesis about the work of the Holy Spirit—that God’s Spirit hovers over us and draws order and purpose out of chaos and disorder, just as he did at the beginning of creation.”

I ask you, What do we have to fear knowing that God determines how the chapters in our lives end?

TODAY’S PRAYER: Do you see any external barriers between you and your need? Ask God for his perspective so that it can inform and transform yours.
