But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!”

2. The bible does show us that God is aware of sports in culture “Race not given to swift” (Eccl. 9:11) but God has no interest in any team or player regardless if he prays or not. What happens if two people on opposite teams pray to God?

   1. B.Hill, Thanks for your thoughts. I think God cares about the heart. With athletes claiming God’s favor upon them, it tends to portray a more self-righteous attitude. Wonder how they interpret Matt 5:45 – “so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Not sure how one can claim God’s favor here.

3. Super Bowl of Egos!

   1. Lol! Will, sports are becoming more about winning at all cost. I see a lot of fathers living vicariously through their children. Not healthy at all.

4. Could we rapture these two teams out before next Sunday? I wanna be left behind puhleeze
