If you want to make your own Advent calendars, it’s not too late. I found this site and really like some ideas here: http://www.allaboutyou.com/craft/Christmas-craft-ideas-advent-calendars! Below is one of their great suggestions:
Sew a Present-pocket Advent Calendar
Cut out a large rectangle of fabric. Cut out 24 equal-sized squares of fabric to cover its area (allowing extra for hems).
Hem the squares and sew onto the larger fabric on three sides, leaving the top open, as six vertical rows and four horizontal.
Stamp numbers onto iron-on tape and iron onto each pocket. Turn over the top edge of the background fabric and stitch to form a channel. Push a piece of bamboo through, attach a length of ribbon and hang.
If you have any Advent Calendar ideas, would love to hear about them!
