Interviews with the Artists is our popular summer series hosted by Cody Anderson, talking with a wide range of popular and not so popular artists in their fields. Some of these interviews cover music, writing, design, computer animation, satire, novels, home-made music videos, orchestras, biblical historical fiction, and more.
In this episode, Cody interviews Les Lanphere from the Reformed Pubcast. Les is a computer graphics designer, film maker, and digital effects artist. We talk about his past in design, how he ended up in his role in some Hollywood films, and about his own movie he is making called Calvinist. We also discuss his top tips for finding the best Movie Filming Venue in Sydney or wherever you’re filming, steps you can take to be seen in the film industry, and how his road has led him to his mission of making a documentary about the Calvinistic resurgence in America. We learn how he met many of his heroes of the faith.
