No Cowardly Christians Allowed with Lori Roeleveld on Speak UP!

Lori Stanley Roeleveld is a disturber of hobbits who enjoys making comfortable Christians late for dinner. She’s authored an inciteful blog since 2009; a pursuit that eventually resulted in two provocative non-fiction books, Running from a Crazy Man (and other adventures traveling with Jesus), Jesus and the Beanstalk (Overcoming Your Giants and Living a Fruitful Life, as well as an unsettling novella, Red Pen Redemption.

Lori’s blog has a modest but faithful daily readership and yet, in 2015 it was named one of the Top 100 Christian Blogs and a single post was viewed over 2 million times, another went viral on Facebook. Lori has published newspaper and magazine articles, poetry, and plays. Her novels, short stories, and Bible studies have won several awards. Besides degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies, Lori earned her Masters in motherhood, homeschooling her two children through graduation. Now, she draws energy from helping writers find their voice and see God’s vision for their work. Scott McCausey

Scott McCausey is the Director of Radio Ministries at Christian Devotions Ministries. God presented this unique challenge in January of 2010 and has since brought exciting, well-know Christian leaders to the show he hosts, Christian Devotions Speak UP! Guests have included Christian recording artists, famous authors, ministers and evangelists and famous sports celebrities, all whom share a common goal to spread the word of Jesus Christ. Scott’s day job has him formulating polyurethane systems for Innovative Polymers of St. Johns, Michigan. He has performed various duties within this company for over 23 years and his vast knowledge of chemistry helps answer technical questions and steer new programs in the right direction. At home, Scott is the father of five children. He has been married to his wife Renee for over 20 years and he leads a Family Integrated Church in the mid-Michigan area.
