Matt Whitman believes in God and thinks things are funny. He was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado before moving to Chicago where he graduated from Trinity College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He met his wife Camilla on his first day of college in his first class. They’ve got three kids together and now live in the mountains of beautiful western Wyoming where Matt works as the Senior Pastor of the Lander Evangelical Free Church. Matt’s a teach-straight-through-books-of-the-Bible kind of guy and uses his appreciation of history, humor, culture, and narrative to help people understand God’s Word. In addition to church and family, Matt throws a lot of time at filmmaking. He writes, acts, and directs and also hosts a YouTube program called The Ten Minute Bible Hour in which he teaches books of the Bible in a tight, informative, and funny format.

ouch! interesting take, enjoyed it, not a guy so not too sure about should I or shouldn’t I ? but I believe that since the message of Christ was so important, they didn’t want to take the chance that the mission would fail, the Holy Spirit was leading, there were some people who may not have an encounter with this new teaching, maybe doubted that they were for real in what they were saying, remember Paul were against the followers of Jesus prior to being filled i think he had to make sure whosoever walked with him had nothing that would hinder the message, some still believed in the law (those who were not circumcised in the flesh could not enter the temple: Ezekiel 44:5- 7) they did not understand that its the heart that Jesus wants to use, give Him your heart, let Him fill and use you and everything else will fall into place, they did not know that … we do..Love in Christ
